Community Money delivers Rights & Responsibilities training to Arhag residents

The training blends both community & business objectives. It improves the personal finance skills of Arhag's residents whilst explaining tenant responsibilities, the importance of rental income and reducing rent arrears, and the process behind arrears management.

The first ten pioneering residents gave the course high marks, and came away with a better understanding of money management, prioritising debt and the income arrears process.

This is the first of 4 such sessions and is part of a comprehensive package of financial inclusion support and staff & resident training, which also includes our Community Money Advocates course.

The 80% is a wonderful result. Will post more results in the next few days and load up the full survey next week.

Now the stigma of personal debt has been lifted...but are we blaming others too much: the banks for making credit available; the government for not regulating enough; the economy for tanking?
